Kate is one of the long-standing icons of MMA & BJJ in New Zealand, holding the titles of ICNZ Womans Featherweight Champion and Newly Crowned POP Bantamweight Champion. Kate is a BJJ Blackbelt under her husband Roney Da Silva, training out of Gracie Gym NZ!
'Jiu-Jitseira' has been training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu since 2004 and has competed in over 40 competitions in New Zealand, she is a multiple times NZ BJJ and Grappling Champion and 2011 NZ National Wrestling Champion.
Kate is a down-to-earth, sincere and an amazing role model for all up and coming female fighters - we can't wait to support Kate through the next stages of her career.
