Steven 'Warzone' Warby was born and raised in Mt Roskill, central Auckland and started training at the age of 20 after getting into trouble alot for fighting on the streets. He realised that he would be better off using his talent in a positive way, and decided to take up MMA. He's since had 19 MMA fights (17 Pro) with a breakdown of11 KOs, 2 submissions, 1 decision and 4 loses. He's also had 2 Kickboxing fights with 1 win 1 lost, and his fastest KO was in 13 seconds. His record is in the process of being updated with Sherdog and Tapology.
He holds the ICNZ heavyweight title, IKBF super heavyweight extreme Muay Thai title and the Shuriken pro heavyweight title.
Warzone has only been stopped once, by Tyson Pedro via submission on the AFC - who has since gone on to sign with the UFC. Steven has since gone on to win the Shuriken heavyweight title and beat Russias 2015/16 Sambo champion Mikhail Udovidchenko on the World Kings of Glory show in Harbin North China via TKO in round 2.
He has made the change to full time training this year, and is intending to make some steps up in his professional carrer.
